Before you burn through tickets, packs, or MLB The Show 26 stubs, it helps to know what actually moves the bar: Mystery Missions, Egg Voucher collections, Moments, Conquest, Mini Seasons, Diamond Quest, and a bit of online work if you want the bonus eggs.
What the program is really asking for
The reward path runs to 100 progress, with 90 OVR Egg Hunt Jackson Merrill sitting at the end with 5,000 XP. Along the way, you're looking at cards like Tyler Rogers, Phil Rizzuto, and Jason Varitek, plus packs, icons, and XP. The annoying bit is the scoring. Some guides say the ten Mystery Missions give 5 points each. Another source says missions are worth 10 stars, while still listing ten solutions. So yeah, check the in-game screen before planning every last point.
The cleanest route I'd use
Don't overthink the first hour. You can knock out a chunk of the program without touching online games, and that's usually the sanest play.

2. Run the Egg Map Conquest next.
3. Save jersey PXP for Mini Seasons.
4. Do KYLE TEST inside Diamond Quest.
5. Leave online steals and doubles for later.
Conquest is where missions stack best
Conquest does a lot of heavy lifting here. Capture all territories for the Blue Egg, own all strongholds for the Yellow Egg, and stack your hidden missions while you're there. Use Troy Tulowitzki for the Conquest extra-base hit. Add Nolan Arenado, Nolan Gorman, Juan Yepez, and Dylan Carlson for the Cardinals "Back" chain. Then work in Gold Clay Holmes for a win, Kerry Wood for a win, and A.J. Puk for one inning. It's messy on paper, but in-game it feels fine.

The big trap is KYLE TEST. A normal CPU game won't do it. You need a Stadium Challenge, Showdown, or Sweeper game inside Diamond Quest. Kyle Schwarber is the safest name, even if other Kyle cards may work.
Mini Seasons and voucher stuff
The Mini Seasons clue is about jersey numbers, not season length. Only players wearing number 7 or 28 count toward the 500 PXP. Starters help a ton here, because innings and strikeouts pile up faster than random bench at-bats. Once Moments, Conquest, Mini Seasons, and Diamond Quest are handled, look at your remaining progress before forcing online games. The Red Egg needs 3 steals online or in multiplayer, and the Green Egg needs 10 doubles there too, so Events are usually less painful than Ranked. If you're also managing your roster economy, MLB The Show 26 buy stubs can be part of that wider setup, but the Egg Vouchers themselves are No Sell, so the real answer is still playing the correct modes.
