This is the most important vidhi done in the name of grandparent for their souls to get free from this world and attain the highest state of liberation from this cycle of human birth and death. Narayan Nagbali is done to get rid of patrimonial curse (pitru dosh /Pitru Shaap) while Nagbali is done to get rid of sin performed by killing snake, especially Cobra which is worshipped in India. It can be performed only at Srirangapatna.

Narayan Nagbali Pooja performed for problems like Business problems, Waste of Money, Family health issues, Educational hindrances, hurdles in getting married. It is also performed to get rid of problems occurred due to curse from father, mother, brother, corpse, wife and small churn-staff. (Pitru shaap, Pratashaap, Matrushaap, Bhatrushaap, patnishaap, matulshaap).Narayan Bali Pooja is performed to conciliate Lord Narayan for an unnatural passing of a human. This Pooja is to be performed in all cases of unnatural deaths, like death by animals, arson, curse, cholera, disease, suicide, snake bite etc. Narayan Bali Pooja is conducted to fulfil and pacify the unsatisfied desires of the dead souls which are trapped in our world that stay with the soul even after death. To get rid of their own pain they trouble their own grandchildren’s.
