Deuteronomy Chapter 31
In Deuteronomy 31, Moses prepares Israel for leadership transition and reassures them of God’s presence. At 120 years old, Moses announces he cannot enter the Promised Land and appoints Joshua as his successor, urging him and the people to be strong and courageous, for God will go before them (vv. 1–8).
