While Amtrak’s presence in Iowa is currently limited to six stations, there is increasing public interest in expanding passenger rail access. Des Moines, the Quad Cities, and Dubuque are among the cities discussed in proposed expansion plans. If realized, these additions would significantly enhance travel convenience and regional connectivity.
