Understanding the Gameplay: Bounce, Paddle, and Break!
The basic premise of Block Breaker, regardless of the specific version, is delightfully straightforward:
The Blocks: A collection of colorful blocks sits at the top of the screen. These are your targets! They can have varying levels of toughness, indicated by color or the number of hits they can withstand.
The Paddle: You control a horizontal paddle at the bottom of the screen. Its purpose is to prevent the ball from falling off the screen and to strategically redirect the ball upwards.
The Ball: A bouncing ball is launched towards the blocks. When it hits a block, the block breaks (or loses a level of health).
The Goal: Destroy all the blocks to clear the level and move on to the next, which usually presents a more challenging block arrangement.
