Hornchurch is located 15 miles North-East of central London with Romford to the north, Upminster to the east, Rainham to the south and Dagenham to the west. It’s a suburban town on the District Line, 40 minutes away from central London. The town centre is workmanlike, and it hosts quite a few historic buildings. The town is a magnet for families and first-time property buyers, as you can find affordable mainly three- and four-bedroom Thirties semis, a few roads of Victorian houses but also properties built from the Fifties onwards, such as modern flats. Moreover, Hornchurch has an unusually large stock of bungalows. The most expensive properties can be found in the Emerson Park area.
