1. What is a Myanmar evisa?

Before applying for an e visa, you should know about Myanmar visa requirements

  • You must have a valid passport for 6 months in an eligible country.

  • A recent digital passport size photograph, make sure the photo should be in standard format.

  • Scanned copy of your passport first biographical page, make sure the scanned copy must be clear and in proper format.

  • You have to show the Proof of return ticket and hotel booking details for stay.

  • You need to upload the original copy of the vaccine certificate and insurance certificate (If required).

  • If you are going for a business trip then you need to upload an Invitation letter with correct information.

4. How to apply for Myanmar evisa online?

The process of e visa application is very simple and straightforward to get a Myanmar visa for tourism or business e visa. You can easily apply from your comfortable place such as home and office. Follow the below mentioned steps to get e-visa:

  • Complete the application form by entering the basic details such as name, passport information, purpose of visit, date of birth and email for verification.

  • You need to upload the required documents that fulfill the requirements and standard.

  • Review the application, pay the visa fees using credit or debit card.

  • After paying the fees, you can submit the application and you will receive a confirmation mail with a reference number.

  • Usually, the visa takes 3 to 5 business days. Once your e-visa is approved, you will receive an e-visa via email.

  • You have to print this e-visa and present it upon arrival at the Myanmar entry point.

5. E-Visa cost and Visa check status

Myanmar visa cost for tourists and business travelers vary depending on your country and length of stay. If you wish to travel Myanmar, then you should be aware of the e visa cost. You can also check your visa status by entering your reference number. Simply, go to the website and click on “Visa Status Enquiry”. Enter the Reference number (received after submitting the application) and Passport number. Now, you can see the visa status, whether it is approved or pending on the website.
