The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.
But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the issue of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.
In an area that has among the highest carbon footprints on the planet, one company is benefiting from the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving successful too, already their client-list contains McDonald's.
